Nick will cover a number of applications of soldering in model railroading and show basic techniques used for layout wiring and locomotive decoder and LED installation. Nick will also discuss the basic tools used for soldering.

Nick lives in South Burlington, VT.  Nick started his model train journey at four with a Marx Figure 8 on a sheet of plywood that his grandfather made for him.  His father made machines that made tantalum capacitors that went to the moon and back and introduced Nick to the engineers that taught him the basics of soldering.
