Electronic Voting Update #2
This update provides additional information about the SER 2016 Board of Directors elections voting process.
You may cast your ballot electronically in the 2016 SER Board of Directors Election. If you do not wish to vote electronically, you may vote using paper ballots. Paper ballots will be included in the Spring SouthErneR.

Voting opens in April 2016. To vote, you must:
- Be a member in good standing as listed on the April 2016 roster from the NMRA.
- Have a membership type that allows voting. Life, Regular, Associate, Sustaining (Individuals), and Student members may vote. Family members and Rail Pass members may not.
If you are eligible to vote and wish to vote electronically, you must:
- Meet the above criteria.
- Have a valid email address on file with the NMRA.
- The email address must be listed on the April 2016 roster from the NMRA.
If you receive the SER electronic newsletter, your email address is on file with the NMRA.
If you do not receive the newsletter, update your email address by calling the NMRA home office. at (423) 892-2846 or contact Membership Chair Rick Coble at rvcoblenmra@gmail.com. Changes must be sent no later than March 15, 2016.
Notes:
- A voting reminder will be emailed to all eligible voters in late March, just before the voting period opens.
- Your voting invitation will arrive by email from electionbuddy.com. Turn off any email blocks prohibiting email from electionbuddy.com.
- If you vote electronically, then send a paper ballot, the electronic vote will be counted. The paper ballot will not be counted.
